So, for those who don't know, I am relocating to the states for a job. So I came down early to see some friends and family, before moving to the westcoast. I got to the airport early, since I figured I will need the extra time to apply for my TN1 work visa. Good thing too, I had to wait in line for almost one hour. On the bright sides of things, the Border Patrol lady was very nice and friendly. :) After I paid for my visa, I walked to my gate only to discover I had 6 hours to kill. My plane was schedule to leave at 7 pm, I was there at 1. XD So much for planning ahead. I was hungry so I decided to grab a bite to eat, and got a Whopper combo at Burger king. After finishing my meal in a hurry ( I dont even know why I ate so fast), there was still a lot of time. My dad called me and asked me to reschedule my flight to an earlier one. My aunt wanted to take me to Kuni san. (Kuni san is this awesome sushi restaurant in
downtown Chicago, who would expect that eh?) I was really looking forward to that, so I approached the counter lady and I asked her if that was possible. Armed with my most charming smile, I politely asked if I could be moved to an earlier flight. The lady looked kind of tired and haggard, so after looking at my boarding pass, she proceeded to type in stuff into her terminal and asking me a bunch of questions. Then, I mentionned that I had checked in my bags, at which point she looked up and gave back my boarding pass and told me that it was too much hassle for her to look for my luggage and that rescheduling was not possible. I was a little peeved by her attitude and sadly returned to my seat to take a napNow the interesting thing is, due to horrible weather conditions in Chicago, there were massive delays in the airport, and the earlier flight that I was suppose to reschedule to got cancelled. Ooof.. talk about luck.:) That also explained why that lady was so tired, she has been rescheduling flights left and right. I kind of feel guilty now for being a little peeved. Anyways, due to weather conditions earlier flights got cancelled. However, that also meant that my plane got pushed back by 3 hours and 30 minutes. So I spent a total of 9 hours at the airport twiddling my thumbs. XD Good thing I had my DS to keep me busy. Hahaha... Thank you Alex for convincing me to buy it. I am pretty good at Tetris now.

Lol, United Airlines, but basically star alliance, which means all airlines. XD
